'Best Trick Prize Night - 21'

Monday 19th March 2018 was the Middlesbrough Circles Bill Ripley's Best Trick Prize Night '21'. 6 competitors took part and the standard was extremely high.

Sheila McTiernan performed Houdini's great escape trick where a sandwiched card vanished from in between two others.

Terry Leathley performed a live game of hangman using a word chosen at random from a book.

Jimmy Willis performed a 3 part prediction effect for a film and its lead actor as well as the serial number from a borrowed bank note.

James Baker performed a zig-zag pencil effect.

Brian Lesko performed a Chinese coins on a ribbon routine where the coins simply melted through the ribbon.

Steve Lewis suffered the poor luck of the draw. He had brought the Houdini's great escape effect but still gave us his own rendition.

The eventual winner was Brian Lesko who picked up the 25 prize along with the 'Top Hat' Trophy.

Congratulations to Brian and thanks to all of the performers for a fun evening.
